This image was taken in 2005 in rural parts of Azerbaijan and is part of series on Azerbaijan, once a Soviet republic,  now an independent state since 1991.

In 1999 Petr Antonov graduated from Moscow Linguistic University and became interested in photography shortly after. Petr is a member of Russion Union of Art Photographers since 2005, and has participated in a number of exhibitions and projections in Russia, Canada, Italy, Syria, USA, including his solo exhibition organised by National Centre of Photography of Russia in Saint Petersburg in 2005. In 2008 Petr Antonov was selected to participate in photojournalism workshops by Objective Reality foundation in Moscow. In 2009 Petr Antonov participated in ISSP workshops in Latvia.
